Error validating database 121 sql error opening connection

At the end of upgrade, BMC Atrium SSO needs to be re-activated from Web Console in order to have it working on the setup.

Check if the account is locked or if the database password was changed.

I spent about an hour trying to figure out what's wrong with SERVER/INSTANCENAME when everything is configured correctly, named pipes, user access rights...

and suddenly it struck me, it's not a slash, it's a backslash ( I had just installed SQL SERVER 2012 developer.

You must enter PCX1\SSQDatabase1 not just SSQDatabase1 or you will receive the named pipes error. Turns out, when i installed the server i did a named instance.

If you still get this error, ask your system administration about the mount option for the temporary folder (/tmp for Linux).

If the directory is mounted with the Global configuration" page and disable BMC Atrium SSO before proceeding with upgrade process.
