World of warcraft updating setup files updating hard wired smoke alarms

If you are on a personal connection, like at home, you can run an anti-virus scan on your device to make sure it is not infected with malware.

If you are at an office or shared network, you can ask the network administrator to run a scan across the network looking for misconfigured or infected devices.

So i started wow this morning and i've got a small window appear instead of the usually launcher, which just says 'Updating Setup Files'the progress keeps moving forwards then backwards again, and nothing happens, it seems completely stuck, wow won't launch at all, just this window keeps coming upanyone else getting the same problem?

it was absolutely fine yesterday, it hasn't downloaded any patches or anything since yesterday, just this 'updating setup files' which doesn't seem to be actually doing anything :(Ok in the search bar on the start menu type %Program Data%this should bring up hidden folders you wouldn't normally see.

Today I was already logged into Wo W when the game suddenly disconnected me.

You can check by going to this site: there, you should see a box on the right side that says version information.

So when I click my Wo W shortcut a window pops up "World of Warcraft Launcher" and a green load bar gets a little more than 1/2 way down and then stops...seems to be stuck at "Updating Setup Files"Now..I directly use the Wo button I can log in and play as per normal.

Also when I clicked the launcher I ot a prompt from my security saying checking if I wanted to allow Wo W to update ("This file has changed since last you used it.. When I clicked yes Wo W Launcher gave me:"Launcher Error: BLZPTS0000B - Failed to Create a Required File"Try turning on your secondary logon path.- Go to start- Control panel- Administrative tools- Services- Scroll down and find the secondary logon service.- Right click on it and go to properties- In the area marked "Startup Type" change that to "automatic"This is required now for WOW to install updates.
